Charlie Mullins, founder of Pimlico Plumbers, has cut the asking price of his Thames-side London apartment by £3 million to £9 million after failing to sell it in the two years since he left the UK. The sale highlights continuing weakness in London’s high-end property market and follows his decision to move abroad amid concerns about Labour’s tax policies.

The three-bedroom, three-bathroom flat in Westminster was bought for £10 million in 2021, the year Mullins sold his business for £145 million. It is on the fifth floor of a seven-storey development, with nearly 3,000 square feet of space, including private terraces, and comes with two parking spaces, a gym and concierge service. Mullins has blamed global economic uncertainty and the war in Iran for the lack of buyers; he now spends most of his time at a villa in Marbella.
