Iron Maiden frontman Bruce Dickinson has been named "Best Live Speaker" at the 2026 edition of The Speaker Awards, held on 3 July in London. The recognition highlights his second career as a professional motivational speaker, built on stories drawn from music, business, aviation and other pursuits, and reflects his growing standing beyond the stage. Responding to the honour, Dickinson said he was "lost for words" and described the award as "unexpected and brilliant", noting the years he had spent working to improve as a speaker and storyteller.

Dickinson was nominated in three categories at the awards — "Best Live Speaker", "Best Motivational Speaker" and "Best Storyteller" — which celebrate speakers who captivate and inspire audiences on stage and online. The selection committee praised his "energy, insight, and unforgettable stage presence". The ceremony took place at the Leonardo Hotel in St Paul's. Beyond fronting Iron Maiden, Dickinson is described as a polymath whose activities include airline captain and aviation entrepreneur (as chairman of aircraft maintenance and pilot training firm Caerdav), beer brewer, twice-published novelist and Sunday Times best-selling author, radio presenter, actor and international fencer.
