BTS kicked off the second North American leg of their ARIRANG World Tour with a two-and-a-half-hour show at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey on Saturday 1 August, just under two weeks after their brief cameo at the World Cup Final Halftime Show at the same venue. The full-length concert let the seven-piece perform nearly the entire ARIRANG album, which has topped the Billboard 200, alongside older favourites, marking a fuller display of their live show after the fleeting World Cup appearance.

Members including RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V and Jung Kook thanked fans throughout, with RM telling the crowd he would "stay positive" and never take their support for granted, while steering clear of directly addressing the band's recent announcement that they would not submit music for this year's Grammy Awards. Highlights picked out included Korean traditional instrumental pieces played before the show, standout vocals on "Like Animals" from Jung Kook, and real-time visual effects during "Fake Love". The tour continues with a second MetLife date on Sunday 2 August, before moving to Boston and then a four-night run at Los Angeles' SoFi Stadium in September.
