BTS’s Reduced Stage Production Across South America Sparks Controversy Ahead of Sold-Out Brazil Shows
Brazilian consumer authorities have asked concert promoter Live Nation to explain BTS’s reduced stage production ahead of three sold-out São Paulo shows. Fans have complained that fewer screens may limit visibility and affect the concert experience.
The South American concerts use four LED screens, compared with 12 at shows in other markets. Senacon contacted Live Nation and Ticketmaster on 22 October, while São Paulo’s Procon-SP reportedly received 518 complaints, 460 about production infrastructure. Live Nation said the setup reflects logistical and scheduling constraints, was shown on the seating map when tickets went on sale, and is intended to support 360-degree viewing; no changes have been announced.
