Bunnie Xo has dismissed suggestions that there is an undisclosed reason behind her divorce from country singer Jelly Roll, after his daughter Bailee Ann said the internet would “crumble” if people learnt the full story. Bunnie said there was “nothing to clear up”, arguing that people were creating a narrative from Bailee’s remarks, while emphasising her affection for her stepdaughter.

Bunnie has previously said the marriage broke down because communication worsened as Jelly Roll’s public life became more demanding, and that his divorce filing followed an argument on Mother’s Day. Jelly Roll filed in May and the divorce became public in June; it was reportedly finalised in July, including a confidential one-off payment instead of alimony. Despite the split, the former couple say they remain on good terms and intend to continue IVF treatment as friends and co-parents.
