Camp Snap made a smaller kid-friendly version of its retro digital camcorder

Camp Snap has launched the CS-8 Mini, a smaller, kid-friendly version of its screen-free retro-style digital camcorder. It is less than half the size of the original, with a grip made for smaller hands and a lower maximum video resolution, while keeping the old-fashioned camera design.

The Mini costs $149.99 and is available in blue, green, pink and orange. It records up to 2.7K video onto an included 4GB microSD card, with clips started by pressing a trigger-style button; footage can be transferred by card reader or USB-C. It has no screen, wireless connectivity or companion app, and offers four aspect ratios, up to 8x digital zoom and five film-style filters.
