Canada’s Rodeo FX Taps Former MPC Film Montreal Exec For Key Corporate Role
Rodeo FX, the Montreal-based visual effects studio, has appointed Émilie Dussault, previously known for building MPC Film's Montreal operation, as its new Senior Vice President, Corporate Affairs. The newly created role covers government relations, public affairs, industry relations and brand communications, and comes as Rodeo FX marks its 20th anniversary following recent expansion into France and India.
Dussault built MPC Film's Montreal studio from scratch in 2013 into an operation of more than 1,250 artists and technicians within five years, and has also served as president of both the Conseil du patronat du Québec and the Bureau du cinéma et de la télévision du Québec. Rodeo FX, whose credits include Game of Thrones, Stranger Things and House of the Dragon, recently expanded through the acquisition of Mikros Animation, with CEO Sébastien Moreau saying the appointment reflects the company's ambition to compete globally on commercial and institutional as well as creative terms.
