Cardi B has rejected suggestions from some fans that she should remain single and concentrate solely on herself, saying she does not intend to be alone indefinitely. Speaking on X Spaces, she said she had spent her recent tour single and had since enjoyed time with friends, but still wanted companionship while being more selective about dating.

She appeared to reference a short-lived reunion with NFL player Stefon Diggs, which she said she ended quickly, and acknowledged she could choose partners more carefully. The comments follow heightened attention on her personal life, including reported sightings with footballer Maduka Okoye; Cardi filed for divorce from Offset for a second time in August 2024 and shares three children with him.
