Cardi B Reveals Her Pick for the Greatest Album of All Time That ‘Every Woman Should Listen To’

Cardi B named Keyshia Cole’s 2005 debut album, *The Way It Is*, her pick for the greatest album of all time, saying she has listened to it since she was 13 and that every woman should hear it. She made the choice in a video for a New York Times T Magazine feature about artists it considers “Greats”.

The album debuted at No. 6 on the Billboard 200 and spent 64 weeks on the chart, earning Platinum certification. Its singles included “I Should Have Cheated”, which peaked at No. 31 on the Hot 100, and “Love”, which reached No. 19; Ari Lennox has also praised the album. Cardi and Cole have not collaborated, and Cardi recently withdrew from an October 18 performance in Jamaica.
