Catherine Zeta-Jones' new thriller series "Kill Jackie" has been given an October release date on Prime Video, with all eight episodes launching on 2 October in the UK, Ireland and several other territories, as well as on AMC+ in the US. The show, produced by Fremantle and Steel Springs Pictures, is based on the novel "The Price You Pay" by Nick Harkaway (writing as Aidan Truhen) and follows a former drug smuggler turned art dealer whose violent past resurfaces.

Zeta-Jones stars as Jackie, who discovers a gang of assassins known as The Seven Demons has been hired to kill her, prompting her to hunt them down before they get to her. The ensemble cast includes Daniel Ings, Sidse Babett Knudsen, Bill Paterson and Ron Perlman, among others, while Damon Thomas ("Killing Eve") directs and Tom Butterworth showruns, with Zeta-Jones also serving as an executive producer.
