Philadelphia Union teenager Cavan Sullivan set a new MLS milestone on Saturday, becoming the youngest player in league history to record a goal contribution in five consecutive matches. The 16-year-old marked the achievement with a LeBron James-style chalk toss celebration, paying tribute to the basketball star's recent move to Philadelphia, in a 2-0 win over CF Montreal.

Sullivan, who scored in the 75th minute, now has 11 goal contributions this season (four goals, seven assists), the most by any 16-year-old in MLS history, surpassing Freddy Adu's 2005 record. He previously became the youngest debutant in North American team sports history in July 2024. Elsewhere in the round, Vincent Janssen scored the Portland Timbers' first MLS hat-trick in a 5-4 win over Minnesota United, Toronto FC and Chicago Fire drew 4-4 with Josh Sargent also scoring a hat-trick, and Breel Embolo scored a stoppage-time penalty on his Atlanta United debut to earn a 2-2 draw at Inter Miami.
