CBS has confirmed a scheduling change for the season two premiere of "Marshals", the Taylor Sheridan-produced procedural spun off from the Yellowstone universe. The show has quickly become one of the network's biggest hits, and the announcement matters to fans keen to catch the follow-up to a cliffhanger left at the end of season one.

CBS revealed via social media that the season two premiere will air on Saturday, 4 October, at 8:30pm ET, half an hour later than usual. From the second episode onwards, the series will revert to its regular 8pm ET slot for the rest of the season. The delay also affects "Tracker", starring Justin Hartley, which airs after "Marshals" and will similarly have a later premiere-night start before returning to its normal schedule the following week.
