CD Projekt has confirmed that its long-running projects codenamed Sirius and Hadar remain in development, but neither appears close to release. The update matters because both projects have received little public attention and have faced lengthy development cycles, particularly Sirius, which was previously paused and rebooted.

Sirius is a multiplayer-focused Witcher game being developed through The Molasses Flood and remains in pre-production, where the team is testing ideas and technical approaches following recent staff cuts. Hadar is CD Projekt’s new original open-world property; it is still in the concept phase despite work beginning in 2021, although its team of more than 30 is expected to grow to 50 developers by the end of 2026.
