Former Everton chief executive Keith Wyness has backed Sheffield Wednesday’s new ownership to rebuild the club after David Storch completed his takeover. Wednesday’s previous owner, Dejphon Chansiri, was effectively removed after the club entered administration in October 2025 and has since been banned from owning or directing an EFL club for three years. Wyness welcomed the change but expressed concern about the Independent Football Regulator’s involvement, as the club seeks stability following a difficult season.
