Chad Gilbert, the guitarist and co-founder of pop-punk band New Found Glory, has died at 45 following a prolonged cancer battle. Gilbert passed away peacefully in his sleep on 20 September, with family present. His wife, Lisa Cimorelli, and the band announced his death after he spent nearly five years fighting multiple aggressive tumours.
