‘Chad Powers’ Season 2 Gets Fall Release Date; Glen Powell Aims To Lead South Georgia Catfish To College Football Playoffs In First Look
Hulu has confirmed that "Chad Powers" will return for a second season, revealing a premiere date alongside first-look images. The comedy series, in which Glen Powell plays a disgraced footballer who dons an elaborate disguise to secure a second chance on the pitch, follows his fictional team, the South Georgia Catfish, as they continue their pursuit of the College Football Playoffs.
Season two premieres on 3rd September, with the show once again starring Powell alongside Perry Mattfeld, Quentin Plair, Wynn Everett, Frankie Rodriguez and Steve Zahn. The new episodes see Chad thriving on the field even as suspicions grow about his off-field conduct, particularly from Coach Hudson, while the deception underpinning his identity threatens to unravel unless Ricky agrees to help. The series, produced by 20th Television and based on ESPN's "Eli's Places" segment, is co-created by Powell and Michael Waldron, with Eli and Peyton Manning among the executive producers.
