Channel 4 has said it is "shocked and deeply saddened" by the death of Lolita Visa, a 32-year-old digital media librarian who had worked for the broadcaster for four years. Visa, known to colleagues as Lola, died in mysterious circumstances last month after going missing during a trip to Llandudno in north Wales, prompting tributes from her employer and an outpouring of grief from friends and family.

An inquest heard that Visa went missing on 22 August and her body was recovered by the coastguard from the water near Llandudno four days later, with the coroner noting her injuries were consistent with time submerged in water. She worked in Channel 4's 4Studio team in Leeds, having joined in 2022 after three years at sports streamer DAZN and graduating from Leeds Beckett University in 2018. Her family has launched a GoFundMe page to cover funeral costs, describing her as "bubbly" and much-loved by those who knew her.
