Charlene Kaye’s *Diversity Shredder* is reviewed as an energetic musical-comedy show that challenges tokenism and stereotyping in the music industry. Drawing on her experience as a queer Asian female guitarist, Kaye examines the compromises and frustrations involved in finding work within an industry that professes inclusivity while often treating diversity superficially.

The show combines sharp songs, multi-genre parody and virtuosic guitar playing, alongside projected examples of insensitive collaboration requests and Western pop’s limited, often problematic portrayals of Asian culture.
