Charlotte Church puts ‘real Tardis’ Welsh cottage on the market featuring interiors ‘inspired by singer’s travels to Africa and Morocco’

Daily Mail · 1 hour ago

Singer Charlotte Church has listed her Welsh cottage for sale at £695,000, just over two years after buying the mid-17th-century property. The sale follows her earlier disposal of her former six-bedroom mansion, The Spinney, in Dinas Powys, and comes amid comments she has made in recent years about no longer having the wealth she once had.

The four-bedroom cottage in South Wales, described by estate agents as one of the oldest homes in the area and a "real Tardis" for its deceptively spacious interior, was bought for £10,000 less than its current asking price. The listing highlights original period features including exposed beams and a fireplace, alongside modern additions such as reclaimed wooden flooring and hessian carpets inspired by Church's travels to Morocco and Africa. Church, 40, told Closer magazine in 2024 that she is "not a millionaire anymore", having previously amassed an estimated £25 million fortune since finding fame as a child singer aged 11.
