US rock trio Edgehill is riding a fast-rising second Billboard hit, "Love to Go," on the Alternative Airplay chart, following its debut single "Doubletake," which reached No. 1 in April. The band's growing radio success, including a noticeably older and broader audience at recent shows, comes as the group prepares for its first headlining tour this autumn.

Edgehill formed at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, with singer Chris Kelly and guitarist Jake Zimmerman meeting at a college jam session in August 2021 and writing "Love to Go" soon after, though it was not released for more than four years. Drummer Aidan Cunningham joined in 2023, and the band built its following partly through social media covers of acts including The Beatles, Radiohead and The Smashing Pumpkins before landing its breakthrough with the grunge-influenced "Doubletake."
