Chief Keef has postponed what was billed as his first hometown Chicago concert in 14 years, pushing the Huntington Bank Pavilion show back from 12 September to 23 September. The last-minute cancellation, announced roughly half an hour before doors were due to open, disappointed fans who had anticipated the rapper's return to the city, with the show forming part of his tour supporting the recent Skeletor mixtape.

Live Nation said the postponement was due to a travel delay that meant Keef could not reach the venue in time to perform a full set before its curfew. In an Instagram story, Keef blamed the disruption on a pilot he described as "very racist" who allegedly cancelled his flight, leaving him scrambling for alternative transport; he apologised to fans, writing he was "upset" but "sincerely sorry". His representative declined to comment, and the tour continues in Minneapolis, Detroit, Austin, New York and Los Angeles in the coming months.
