Children at Sheffield primaries celebrate Tramlines
Children at Sheffield primary schools took part in a music project celebrating the Tramlines festival, performing Heather Small’s song “Proud”. The initiative gave pupils a chance to participate in a citywide cultural event and highlighted young people’s involvement in Sheffield’s music scene.
Hundreds of children from primary schools across the city contributed performances to a collaborative video. The project was delivered through a partnership involving Sheffield Music Hub and Children’s University, ahead of the annual Tramlines festival.
