Pearl Studio's animated fantasy film "All Wishes Come True!" claimed the top spot at the mainland China box office over the weekend of 24–26 July 2026, overtaking Stephen Chow's sports comedy "Kung Fu Soccer." The shift highlights the continued strength of family-oriented animation in the Chinese market, even as overall industry revenue lags behind last year's figures.

"All Wishes Come True!", directed by Mu Zhengyang, earned RMB314.8 million ($46.3 million) in its second weekend, bringing its total to $112.5 million, while "Kung Fu Soccer" slipped to second with $33.9 million, taking its cumulative haul to $286.6 million. Sci-fi epic "The Decisive Moment" opened in third with $6.4 million, ahead of Universal's "Obsession" ($4.9 million) and youth drama "A Part of Me" ($2.7 million). Total weekend grosses across mainland China reached $102.3 million, with year-to-date revenue at $3.15 billion, down 33.6% compared with the same period in 2025.
