Chloe Fineman has left Saturday Night Live after seven seasons, becoming the first cast member to depart following the show's 51st season. The impressionist, celebrated for her celebrity impressions and viral sketches, said leaving was "really hard" but felt like "the right time," and is now in negotiations to join the cast of Netflix's upcoming drama series Myron Bolitar, based on Harlan Coben's novels.

Fineman joined SNL as a featured player at the start of the pandemic-disrupted 2019-20 season, rising to prominence through remote, made-at-home segments during lockdown that showcased her impersonation skills. She became known for portrayals of stars including Drew Barrymore, Britney Spears, Nicole Kidman and Meryl Streep, alongside viral sketches such as Snack Homiez and the Domingo series. She confirmed her exit publicly on Instagram, calling her time on the show "the greatest privilege of my life" and thanking SNL creator Lorne Michaels, while her Myron Bolitar co-stars are set to include Colin Woodell, KJ Apa and Diane Guerrero.
