Nashville outlaw country veteran Chris Gantry has announced a new album, Worth Every Nail, continuing the late-career resurgence he has enjoyed thanks to the community around Chicago label Drag City Records. The set will be released on Appalachia Record Co., produced by the label's own Loney John Hutchins, and Gantry has shared its opening track, "Boldness Of Spirit," which shows the veteran singer's voice deepening with age.

The record features a host of Nashville indie musicians, including most of Silver Jews, bassist Jack Lawrence (Raconteurs, Dead Weather, Greenhornes), steel guitarist Luke Schneider, and guitarist Sean Thompson, alongside guest vocalists Erin Rae, Caitlin Rose and Cassie Berman. Worth Every Nail comprises ten tracks and is due out on 11th October via Appalachia Record Co., with pre-orders now open.
