Chris Pratt Teases Marvel Return: “You’ll See Star-Lord Again, Which Is Very Exciting”

Chris Pratt says Star-Lord will return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, signalling that Marvel is working to fulfil the promise made after Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. He did not reveal when the character will appear, leaving open whether it could be in Avengers: Doomsday, Avengers: Secret Wars or a later project.

Pratt said he has had ongoing conversations with Marvel executives Kevin Feige and Lou D’Esposito, alongside “hard action” to make the return happen. He first played Peter Quill in 2014 and has since appeared as Star-Lord in several films and television specials, most recently Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 in 2023.
