Chris Pratt to Continue ‘Terminal List’ Story in ‘Savage Son’ Series for Amazon

Chris Pratt will reprise his role as former Navy SEAL James Reece in *Savage Son*, a new Amazon project based on the third novel in Jack Carr’s *The Terminal List* series. The project will continue Reece’s story, but it is not yet clear whether Amazon will classify it as a third season or a standalone spin-off; sources say the latter is more likely.

The story is described as a military thriller combining action, espionage and wilderness survival, centred on Reece’s most personal and dangerous mission. Amazon’s franchise also includes the original *The Terminal List* and the 2025 prequel *The Terminal List: Dark Wolf*, starring Taylor Kitsch. The original series debuted in 2022, and its second season debuted on 21 October 2026. *Savage Son* is produced by Amazon MGM Studios, MRC and Civic Center Media.
