Essex singer-songwriter Chrissi has released a new single, 'THE SCARIEST PART !', out via Black Butter Records. The track sees her confronting the lingering emotional impact of a past relationship, blending R&B-tinged melancholy with a broadly relatable pop sensibility as she works through the process of moving on from an ex-partner.

Chrissi has said the song was written after she boarded a plane and blocked her former partner, only to find that a new country and environment did little to shake his presence from her mind. The release follows her recent singles 'ONE IN FIVE !' and 'HEARTLESS DARLIN' !', continuing a productive run for the artist, who has also collaborated with Mahalia, FLO and Skye Newman, and featured alongside Ghetts on Kojey Radical's acclaimed album.
