Christina Hendricks, Accidental DJ, Has Music Lovers Lining Up

The Hollywood Reporter ·

Christina Hendricks is drawing crowds as a DJ, bringing a long-standing love of making playlists into public sets. Her first Los Angeles County gig attracted nearly 200 people waiting outside, showing how her unexpected musical sideline is finding an audience beyond her acting career.

Hendricks began DJing after her friend, harpist and DJ Mary Lattimore, invited her to share a bill at San Diego’s Part Time Lover in 2026. She played a four-hour set at Sid’s Bar, moving through shoegaze, chillwave, electronic and indie sleaze, and closed with Broken Social Scene’s “Protest Song”. After recently finishing two acting projects, she plans to keep DJing, including another San Diego set on Halloween and further dates in November.
