The Odyssey is Christopher Nolan’s film adaptation of an ancient Greek epic traditionally credited to Homer. It follows Odysseus, a Greek king trying to return home after the Trojan War, and the dangers and delays he encounters along the way.

Nolan is a British-American film-maker known for large-scale films, while Matt Damon, Anne Hathaway, Robert Pattinson and Tom Holland are among the cast. The story has been retold in books, plays and films for centuries, and this version brings it to a modern cinema audience. The home edition also includes behind-the-scenes material about how the film was made.
