CKY has released “Beware Of The Heartless”, a new single featuring a guitar solo by the late Brent Hinds, the former Mastodon guitarist and vocalist. Issued shortly before the first anniversary of his death, the track serves as a tribute and allows the band to share a previously unreleased collaboration with their longtime friend.

Hinds died on 20 August 2025, and CKY’s Chad I Ginsburg said the band chose not to leave his contribution unheard. It is the second CKY song to include Hinds’s guitar work, following “Days Of Self Destruction” from 2017’s The Phoenix; plans for Hinds’s band Fiend Without A Face to support CKY on a UK tour were cancelled after his death. The single was released on major streaming platforms on 14 August 2026.
