Cleo Sol Releases New Album ‘Gentlewoman’

Clash · 3 hours ago

Cleo Sol has released her new album 'Gentlewoman' in full, marking her first solo full-length since 2023's acclaimed 'Gold'. The record adds to the reclusive UK soul singer's catalogue at a time when her collective Sault, led by her husband and producer INFLO, remains in the spotlight amid an ongoing legal dispute with fellow collaborator Little Simz. Sol rarely speaks to the press, but a note accompanying the release says the album speaks "from a place of honesty and finding strength through life and its challenges".

'Gentlewoman' comprises 15 tracks and is being handled digitally and physically by Forever Living Originals. It follows Sault's January 2026 release 'Chapter 1', while Little Simz last year launched legal action against INFLO alleging around £1 million in unpaid debts, a case INFLO has since counter-sued over. Sol played a short run of shows at New York's Radio City Music Hall last year, and has hinted on social media at further live dates to come.
