Coleen Rooney has revealed that she considered separating from her husband Wayne after a series of explosive rows, as documented in their new Disney+ docu-series, The Real Rooneys. The couple, both 40, have admitted they can go days without speaking to each other, with Coleen candidly stating that she contemplates separation as a potential solution to their marital difficulties.

The series, a £10 million fly-on-the-wall production, shows specific incidents including Wayne leaving Coleen waiting two hours in a car whilst he played golf on the day of a romantic getaway to Loch Lomond in Scotland. The couple have four sons (aged 16, 13, 10, and eight) and tension has been heightened as Wayne adjusted to life as a stay-at-home father following his departure from Plymouth Argyle, whilst Coleen increased her work commitments, including designing a Primark collection and filming advertisements. Coleen has stated that Wayne, though a good father, is careless and does not help sufficiently with household duties.
