Colossal, Game-Changing Dragon’s Dogma 2 Patch 3.2 Out Now on PS5

Push Square · 6 hours ago

Capcom has released Patch 3.2 for Dragon's Dogma 2 on PS5, described as the biggest update yet for the open-world RPG. The 48GB update overhauls large portions of the game ahead of the Dark Arisen expansion, which launches on 9th October, and is aimed at improving combat balance, pawn and enemy behaviour, and overall performance, potentially resolving the game's long-standing frame rate issues.

Among the changes, players can now skip the story's opening section on replays, and the number of assignable weapon skills has increased from four to six. Combat has been tweaked so players flinch less often after being hit, are less likely to be targeted by enemies while crawling, and get up immediately if attacked while downed; stamina recovery items now take effect instantly when exhausted, and the invincibility window after being revived with a wakestone has been extended. Capcom first published the patch notes several months ago, but the update itself is only now available to download.

  • Dragon's Dogma 2's biggest-ever patch (3.2) is live on PS5.
  • 48GB update overhauls combat, pawns, enemies and UI.
  • Precedes the Dark Arisen expansion, launching 9th October.
