Indianapolis Colts special teams co-ordinator Brian Mason was injured on the sideline during the final play of the team’s 13-13 preseason draw against the New England Patriots at Gillette Stadium. Mason, 39, was hit around the legs as players from both teams ran towards the sideline, despite attempting to move out of their path. He was left on the ground in pain, with reports describing the injury as involving his knee.
