Comedian Brian Bates will release a new stand-up special, Worried, on Nate Bargatze's Nateland Entertainment YouTube channel on Friday 24 July 2026. Filmed at The Lab at Zanies in Nashville, the hour-long set sees Bates draw on his lifelong overthinking and people-pleasing tendencies to explore getting married and becoming a first-time father later in life, covering everything from dating apps to raising a four-year-old in his 50s.

The special touches on subjects including sleep apnea, potty-training mishaps, costly dog therapy and the expense of removing a tree, framing ordinary domestic worries as comic material. It is produced by Nateland Entertainment alongside Matt Schuler, Jarad Clement and Tristan Swang, with Bargatze, Adrian Kulp and Jordan Levy as executive producers. Bates left a near 20-year corporate career at 43 to pursue stand-up, later co-hosting Bargatze's Nateland Podcast for six years and now co-producing The Public Figures Podcast; he has previously released two Dry Bar Comedy specials and performs regularly at the Grand Ole Opry.
