Constantine movie in the works at DC, but a big Keanu Reeves question hangs over it
Developing story first seen 1 hour ago
DC Studios is developing a Constantine film, with Francis Galluppi writing the script, according to newly reported details. The project is in its early stages, and it is not yet clear whether it will continue Keanu Reeves’s 2005 portrayal or feature a different version of the supernatural detective.
Reeves has said a draft of a proposed sequel was awaiting studio feedback, and DC co-chief James Gunn confirmed he had discussed a sequel with him. Bill Skarsgård has also previously mentioned an idea for a Constantine film with director Andy Muschietti; the new project’s cast and whether it will sit within DC’s main universe or its Elseworlds banner are unknown.
