Remedy Entertainment has released Hotfix 1.33 for CONTROL Resonant, reducing enemy health and Falter requirements to address early-game combat feeling overly tedious. The update also strengthens Dylan Faden and his Aberrant weapon, making encounters more forgiving while preserving the game’s overall challenge.
The patch lowers the health and Falter thresholds of early bosses The Dancer and The Deserter, increases the maximum strength of Dylan’s abilities, and makes respeccing cheaper by improving access to reset items. It follows criticism from reviewers and players after the game’s global launch, including its two-day PlayStation 5 early-access period; Remedy also highlighted Assist Mode and said further adjustments could follow. CONTROL Resonant currently holds an 84/100 Metacritic score, while Destructoid rated it nine out of 10.
- Day-one patch reduces early-game enemy health and stun requirements.
