Copper upgrades Charlie induction stove with faster heating and wider compatibility
Copper has upgraded its premium Charlie induction range with more powerful cooking performance and broader electrical compatibility. The changes make the stove faster and easier to install, strengthening its appeal as a high-end alternative to gas cooking, although the substantial price increase may limit its audience.
The new model has a 3,000-watt broiler, 3kW induction zones and a 15 per cent faster preheat time, reaching 350°F in three minutes and 50 seconds. It supports both 120- and 240-volt outlets, retains features such as a built-in battery and precise temperature controls, and will be manufactured by Miele in Alabama; prices now start at $6,799, rising to $7,199 for the walnut version.
