Corie Henson Leaving Beast Studios To Return To LA
Corie Henson is stepping down as president of Beast Industry Studios, the production arm of MrBeast's business empire, and will return to Los Angeles to be closer to her family after spending much of the past year based in Greenville, North Carolina. Her exit prompts a search for a new studio chief as the company, led by Jimmy Donaldson (MrBeast) and CEO Jeff Housenbold, looks to build out its expanding content operations beyond his flagship YouTube channel.
Henson joined the role last year and has been closely involved with Amazon's Beast Games, which recently wrapped production on its third season, as well as broader growth efforts including a theatrical feature, a new animation studio and a video game platform. Her departure is described as amicable, with Donaldson and Housenbold supportive of the move, and she will assist with the transition. Before joining MrBeast's company, Henson held senior unscripted roles at NBCUniversal, overseeing shows including America's Got Talent, The Voice, The Traitors and Love Island, and previously worked at Warner Bros Discovery.
