A new Survation poll indicates that satirical candidate Count Binface could capture approximately one-fifth of the electorate's support in the Clacton by-election, emerging as the primary challenger to Reform UK leader Nigel Farage. The survey projects Farage would receive 73 percent of votes in a multi-candidate race, declining to 69 percent in a direct two-candidate contest, whilst Binface's support would nearly double to 31 percent in such a scenario.

The by-election occurs amid ongoing scrutiny of Farage's acceptance of a £5 million donation from a cryptocurrency billionaire and presents from an individual with a criminal conviction, currently under investigation by parliamentary standards authorities. The Conservative Party, Liberal Democrats, Greens, and Labour have all declined to participate, describing the contest as a political manoeuvre, whilst Farage's personal approval rating has reached its lowest point at negative 32 percent according to recent polling.
