Country Star Pulled Through Windshield After Terrifying Tour Bus Crash
Country artist Colt Ford says he was pulled through the windscreen of his tour bus by emergency responders after it crashed into a ditch while travelling to Germany for a show. He suffered a broken shoulder, while the rest of the crew were reportedly left “a little banged up” but safe; the incident may affect forthcoming performances.
The crash follows other serious health difficulties for Ford, who suffered a heart attack two years ago and later recovered. Ford, known for his own country releases and for co-writing Jason Aldean’s “Dirt Road Anthem”, shared a photograph of the damaged bus online, prompting supportive messages from artists including Jake Owen, George Birge, Uncle Kracker and Meghan Patrick.
