His wife, Hayley Hubbard, removed it herself, with the couple's three young children looking on, and Tyler shared footage of the incident on Instagram, giving the story wider attention among country music fans.

The video shows Hayley calmly working the hook free while their children, Olivia, 8, Luca, 6, and Atlas, 5, watched and offered encouragement, with Tyler warning them the wound might "bleed a little." Hayley reassured him he was "doing great" before pulling the hook out, declaring "We got it!", and Tyler captioned the post "Breakfast had to wait." The incident came a month after Tyler reunited with Brian Kelley to reform Florida Georgia Line, with the duo performing a surprise set at CMA Fest in Nashville.
