Crimson Desert Reveals Just How Big Its PS5 DLC Really Is in New Trailer
Pearl Abyss has detailed Charting the Unknown, a large paid expansion for Crimson Desert, in a new overview trailer. It continues the stories of Cliff, Damiane and Oongka, while adding major activities and customisation that broaden the game’s exploration and management systems.
Players can build and customise ships, explore islands, fight enemy vessels and dive for underwater ruins, with one sequence showing travel by holding onto a whale’s fin. The expansion also adds character romances and marriage, more control over outposts and businesses, and customisable homes and castles. It launches on PS5 on 29 October 2026 for £19.99 or $24.99.
