Pearl Abyss has released Crimson Desert patch 1.14.00, adding long-requested cross-save support nearly four months after the action role-playing game's launch. The update lets players carry a single save file across platforms, addressing one of the community's most common complaints and making the game more convenient for those who play on multiple systems.

The patch, released on Thursday 16 July, brings cross-save to all platforms except macOS, which will get it later. Players link their platform account (Epic Games, PlayStation, Steam or Xbox) to a Pearl Abyss ID, though only one account per platform can be linked to a given ID and only one manually-saved cross-save slot is provided; unlinking all platforms permanently deletes the cloud save unless it's first backed up locally. The update also includes quest and localisation fixes, combat tweaks, and various bug fixes, though some of the game's control issues remain unresolved.
