Footballer Cristiano Ronaldo has married his long-term partner, model and influencer Georgina Rodríguez, in a civil ceremony in Portugal. The couple, who have been together for a decade, tied the knot on 11 August in the coastal town of Cascais near Lisbon, with their five children reportedly present. Ronaldo confirmed the news by posting a photo of the pair's wedding rings on Instagram.
The two met at a Gucci shop in Madrid where Rodríguez worked, while Ronaldo was playing for Real Madrid, and became engaged exactly a year earlier on 11 August 2025. The Instagram post announcing the marriage drew more than three million likes within 30 minutes. Ronaldo, who has scored nearly 1,000 career goals for clubs including Sporting, Manchester United, Juventus and Al Nassr, recently featured in his sixth World Cup, a men's record he shares with Lionel Messi.
