The Critics Choice Association will launch its inaugural Creator Awards in 2027, expanding its awards programme to recognise digital entertainment across social media, streaming platforms and podcasts. The move reflects the growing cultural and commercial importance of online creators, while aiming to help audiences discover work judged to be of high quality.

Nominees will be announced on 18 March 2027 and winners on 15 April. Awards will cover podcasts, livestreaming, viral videos, editing, scripted short-form series and micro-dramas, as well as comedy, drama, news, documentary, educational, business and crime content; likely contenders range from established creators such as MrBeast, Dhar Mann and Rhett and Link to podcasters including Jay Shetty, Steven Bartlett and Amy Poehler.
