Cult of Luna Unleash “Sadness Will Reign” Featuring Gojira’s Joe Duplantier

Cult of Luna have released “Sadness Will Reign”, a new single featuring guest vocals from Gojira frontman Joe Duplantier. The collaboration brings Duplantier’s distinctive voice to a track with an apocalyptic sound, marking a return to a sonic approach the band last used on their second album, *Salvation*.

Singer-guitarist Johannes Persson said Duplantier’s voice has a unique character that helps Gojira stand out. The song is the fourth single from Cult of Luna’s forthcoming album, *In the Shadow of Your Shadow*, due on 6 November; earlier singles include the title track, “A Way Back” and “The Rift”.
