Curry Barker said budget limits meant he could not remove a repeating building visible in the car scenes of his horror film *Obsession*. The scenery outside the windows was created with a looping video on an LED wall, and the same building can be seen passing more than once.
Barker estimated he had watched the film more than 200 times, though he could not count exactly. After taking a break from it, he revisited the opening in a cinema and felt it achieved the eerie, nostalgic mood he had sought, which he said he may have missed while working so closely on it. He also described Nikki’s appearances in Fortnite and at Halloween Horror Nights as an unexpected development.
