Focus Features and Blumhouse Atomic Monster have scheduled Curry Barker’s next film, *Anything But Ghosts*, for release on 7 May 2027. Barker co-wrote and directs the supernatural film, which stars him and Cooper Tomlinson as aspiring ghost hunters whose investigation spirals out of control; it is set in the same universe as *Obsession*.

Tomlinson, Violet McGraw, Chris Reinacher, Bryce Dallas Howard and Aaron Paul also star. Focus holds worldwide rights, with Universal Pictures International handling overseas distribution. The release date is shared with other major films, including *Beach Read* and *The Resurrection of the Christ (Part One)*, while Sony’s *The Legend of Zelda* is due the week before. Barker said the 130-page script was shot over 26 days, a demanding process that involved dropping planned shots.
